DB0001 Acrylic Primer - 1: Grey - Matt - 14ml

Humbrol No. 1 Grey Primer is a Matt, water-based Acrylic first coat supplied in a 14ml dropper bottle. It preps bare surfaces before colour painting, improving paint adhesion and leaving a smoother finish once the topcoats are on. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades. The same No. 1 Grey Primer is also available as a solvent-based Enamel and as a 150ml Acrylic spray.

• Touch dry in 20 - 40 mins; hard dry in 1 - 2 hours
• Brush straight from the bottle, or airbrush at 70-30 paint to water
• Shake the bottle, then drip a few drops onto a palette for controlled detail work

How to Use

Shake the bottle, then brush straight from it or from a palette. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat; thin at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Wait until hard dry before colour painting, and clean brushes with water or Acrylic Thinners when wet, cellulose when dry.
