In the second half of the 1990s, the famous coffee company 'KIMBO' carried out an advertising campaign on several FS rolling stock, including some ALn 668 series 3000 and 3300, customising the sides and heads with the company logo and a slogan on a white background, together with a large image of a coffee cup.
In the case of the ALn 668, the white background advertising follows by a few years the red background advertising previously made by the same company only on these railcars.
